I started in lawn care back in 2020. In 2022 we started doing Christmas lights in the offseason, and in 2023 I added permanent landscape lighting. I loved it — especially seeing the look on people's faces the first time they saw their house lit up at night.
So I didn't want to do it halfway. In 2024 I sold the lawn care business so we could focus 100% on outdoor lighting. I spent over $20,000 on lighting training, did hundreds of demos to learn what actually looks best, and built a team that only does this.
Since then we've designed and installed 300+ lighting projects across Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, with 99+ five-star reviews. When I started I thought it was just about making homes look good. I've learned it's also about making them feel safer.

Since we install during the day, we can't see the final result. So we come back at night — for free — and adjust every light until it's exactly how you want it.
If we don't install when we said we would, or we charge more than the agreed price (you didn't add anything new), you get 20% back. Period.
Every fixture we install carries a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. If a light fails, we replace the part — you never pay for materials.
No. We don't draw names. We choose the home that we think will make the strongest before/after photos and video each month. Second place becomes our Highlighted Home and gets a smaller version of the same package.
Honest answer: instead of spending thousands a month on billboards and junk mail, we put that money back into our customers' projects and let the photos sell us. The portfolio media we get is worth more to our business than the discount costs us.
Houses across the whole spectrum. Yes, the magazine-cover homes are great. But statistically, lower-value homes actually see a higher percentage value lift from lighting — so even if your home isn't a mansion, you can still come out ahead.

To qualify you should be comfortable investing at least $3,000 into your property — and if selected, we offer in-house interest-free financing so you can get started for as little as $1,000.
About $3 a month in electricity. The lights are low-voltage LED, run on automatic timers (or an app if you want app control), and turn on and off without you lifting a finger.
Two options: (1) we light only what you have now and add more later, or (2) we run hidden wires now to the spots where landscaping is coming, then come back to install fixtures after. We work around landscapers all the time.
Most Featured Property installs are completed in a single day. We arrive in the morning, you go about your life, and you come home to a lit house at dusk.
The fixtures carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty. We also offer the Chesapeake Lighting Care Plan — a yearly visit where we clean lenses, re-aim every fixture, and check wiring/voltage so the system stays looking like day one. Most of our clients add it.
Birmingham and Tuscaloosa only. In Tuscaloosa we work in The Highlands, North River, Lake Tuscaloosa, Capstone Village, Cherokee Hills, Forest Lake, Glendale Gardens, Indian Hills, Hillcrest, Brookwood, Northport, and surrounding areas.
